"Change Your Lens, and reread Revolutions"
There are moments in history when the noise of nations grows so loud that the quieter truths of the spirit are almost drowned out. Moments when fear, rivalry, and pride try to claim the final word. Moments when people search scripture not for healing, but for justification.
This reflection is written for such a moment.
It is not a political argument.
It is not a prophecy of doom.
It is a call to return to the teachings of Yeshua... the red words... and to read our world through the lens of mercy rather than the lens of pride.
There is a revelation that rises only when the lens of pride is shattered.
A revelation that cannot be seen through fear, rivalry, or the sins of man.
A revelation that appears only when the teachings of Yeshua are allowed to speak louder than the drums of war.
It begins with this truth:
No nation is the enemy.
No people are the enemy.
Only violence is the enemy.
Only hatred is the enemy.
Only the pride that blinds us is the enemy.
When Revelation is read through pride, every side imagines itself righteous.
Every side imagines the other as Babylon.
Every side imagines its own sword as holy.
But when Revelation is read through the red words, the entire story changes.
The Lamb stands where the lion once stood.
Mercy stands where wrath once stood.
Healing stands where conquest once stood.
And the nations... all nations... are not condemned.
They are wounded.
They are deceived.
They are afraid.
They are in need of healing.
The leaves of the tree are still for the healing of the nations.
Not the destruction of the nations.
So when we look at the conflict between Israel, Iran, and the United States, the revelation is not a prophecy of doom.
It is a mirror held to the human heart.
It says:
Do not read this war through pride.
Do not read it through wrath.
Do not read it through the sins of man.
Read it through the teachings of Yeshua... Isa... Christ.
Read it through
Blessed are the peacemakers.
Read it through
Love your enemies.
Read it through
Forgive seventy times seven.
Read it through
Those who live by the sword die by the sword.
Read it through
Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me.
When you read the world through that lens, the revelation becomes clear:
Every child is your child.
Every mother is your mother.
Every life is sacred.
Every death is a wound in the body of humanity.
And the Lamb calls not for victory, but for transformation.
Not for domination, but for repentance.
Not for the triumph of one nation over another, but for the triumph of mercy over violence.
The revelation is this:
The world will not be saved by the sword.
The world will be saved by the Lamb.
And the Lamb teaches us that the final battle is not between nations.
It is between the pride that divides us
and the mercy that can still heal us.
This is not a message of politics.
It is a message of posture.
A reminder that the teachings of Yeshua were never meant to be read through the lens of conquest, but through the lens of compassion. A reminder that mercy is not weakness, but the deepest strength a wounded world can still choose.
If there is a revelation for this moment, it is not about which nation will rise or fall.
It is about which spirit we will choose to follow.
The spirit of pride
or the spirit of the Lamb.
Peace and blessings upon you all,
💚JoshM
