"The Washing Machine of the Soul" on morality and sin..
Lost in thought, and I "need" to vent...
You hear people scream that being gay is a sin, that being trans is a sin, that having sex or children outside of marriage is a sin, that having multiple partners or an open marriage is a sin, that sending nude photos to like minded friends is sick or wrong or forbidden, like having or starting the weird yet fun conversations will end the entire world. And then they go and get so offended, then yell at you for being offended. I know, I do not get it too. They claim being weird and saying the weird thing is sinful and wrong. They are so judgemental and then think God hears them. He does not. He sees how you treat his creations and he stopped listening to you.
You hear people shout that you are going to hell for simply being who you are and loving how you love.
My friends, hell is a scare tactic. The afterlife is not a pit of fire waiting to swallow you whole. It is more like a washing machine.(what I saw/experienced)
The worse your cruelty, the deeper your harm, the more you judge and wound your neighbor, the longer your soul stays in the wash and the harder it must be scrubbed.
Yahweh is the Most High, the Most Forgiving, the Most Loving. He does not want to destroy your soul for simple acts he himself created you to desire. He made your body to feel. He made your heart to reach. He made your spirit to connect. He made intimacy a language of healing. He made touch a medicine. He made desire a spark of life.
It is scientifically proven that intimacy, connection, sex, nudity, openness, and honesty improve our health, our mental wellbeing, our moods, our relationships. These things are not curses. They are not traps. They are not forbidden fruits. They are part of the divine design. They are part of how we were shaped by the Creator.
It does not matter if a man sleeps with a man. It does not matter if a woman sleeps with a woman. It does not matter if a husband has multiple partners or if a wife has multiple partners. It does not matter if a couple chooses openness with trusted friends. What matters is consent. What matters is kindness. What matters is honesty. What matters is that no one is harmed.
Human beings made these things taboo. Human beings called them gross. Human beings labeled them sinful. Human beings planted the seeds of division and shame. Ask yourself why God would make sex and nudity so appealing, so comforting, so healing, only to destroy your soul for doing exactly what he created you to do. It was mortal men who placed restrictions on your body and your joy. It was mortal men who used religion to control women, to control men, to control communities, to control money, to control you.
They tell you who to hate and you listen. They tell you what is forbidden and you fall to your knees. Why? Because the ones shouting the loudest often have graveyards worth of skeletons in their closets. The ones calling you sinful are often the ones committing the real evil. The ones harming women. The ones harming children. The ones committing rape. The ones committing sexual abuse. The ones exploiting the vulnerable. The ones stealing consent. The ones who use fear and shame as weapons while hiding their own rot.
They claim it is the will of God or Jesus. It is not. It is the sickness of their own souls.
If it is consensual and harms no one, God does not condemn it. Even if it is gay. Even if it is taboo. Even if it is outside the narrow box someone else built for you. The sin is not in desire. The sin is in cruelty. The sin is in exploitation. The sin is in violating the innocent. The sin is in forcing yourself on someone. The sin is in abusing a child. The sin is in rape. The sin is in sexual abuse. The sin is in any act that destroys another person’s safety or dignity. That is what destroys a soul. Not who you love. Not how you love. Not what is between your legs. Not how many partners you have. Not if you send a nude photo to a trusted friend.
Love your neighbor as yourself. That is what Christ taught. And if you do not follow Christ, Yahweh still says to love. And if you look at other faiths, you will find the same truth.
Here is what the world’s traditions say about loving others.
"Judaism" teaches tikkun olam, the call to repair the world through justice, compassion, and responsibility.
"Christianity" teaches love your neighbor as yourself, the central command of Jesus rooted in mercy, forgiveness, and compassion.
"Islam" teaches that Allah is the Most Merciful, and believers are commanded to show kindness, charity, and compassion to all creation.
"Buddhism" teaches metta, loving kindness, as a path to liberation and enlightenment.
"Hinduism" teaches ahimsa, the sacred duty to avoid harm and practice compassion toward all beings.
"Sikhism" teaches seva, selfless service rooted in love, equality, and care for all people.
"Indigenous traditions" teach that community, land, body, and spirit are one circle of care.
"Taoism" teaches wu wei, the gentle way of living in harmony with kindness and natural compassion.
"Confucianism" teaches ren, humaneness, the moral obligation to act with empathy and benevolence.
"Shinto" teaches magokoro, the sincere heart expressed through respect and harmony.
"Zoroastrianism" teaches good thoughts, good words, and good deeds as the path to righteousness.
"Jainism" teaches radical non harm and compassion toward every living soul.
"Baha’i Faith" teaches the unity of humanity and the duty to uplift every neighbor.
"Zen Buddhism" teaches that compassion arises naturally when the mind is clear and awake.
"Sufism" teaches divine love as the center of existence, reflected in loving and serving others.
"Norse Paganism" teaches honor, reciprocity, and community loyalty.
"Wicca" teaches harm none, a call to live and love freely as long as no harm is done.
"Druidry" teaches wisdom, creativity, and love as the three sacred goals of life.
"Witchcraft" teaches that intention shapes reality, so loving your neighbor means avoiding harm and honoring consent.
"Ubuntu" teaches I am because we are, the truth that our humanity is shared.
"Indigenous American traditions" teach that love is responsibility, shared by all who walk the circle of life.
Everywhere you look, the message is the same. Love. Protect. Heal. Lift. Honor.
You do not need to hate yourself for being fat or thin, gay or straight, trans or cis, monogamous or polyamorous. You do not need to hate yourself for sending a nude to a friend when it is mutual and consensual. Loving openly as god intended. God loves you for who you are and how your soul was made. He wants you to make your soul happy in the temple that houses it. Your body is a lantern protecting the light inside you from wind and rain.
So send the dirty stuff if it is safe and consensual. Explore the taboo if it is honest and kind. Have the weird conversations. Those conversations can save a life. They can open a heart. They can heal a wound. They can remind someone that they are not alone.
It is not weird. It is not forbidden. It is not sinful. It is regulated by people who want control. It is disguised as morality and religion but it's hate and fear.
So speak freely. Love boldly. Be the brightest rainbow you can be. Be exactly who you feel you are inside and outside. Let your soul match your skin. Let your truth match your voice. Let your joy match your steps.
You were made to love and be loved. Everything else is noise and a means to control you.
May you be held by a love that asks nothing of you,
a love that lets you breathe,
a love that lets you return to yourself without fear,
a love that keeps your light steady
even when the world shakes.
With Gratitude, Respect & Love
